About Us

Welcome! We are Dan and Sarah, and we are excited to bring our lifelong passion for gymnastics & education to our community.  As co-owners of Elevation Gymnastics, we share a vision of creating a welcoming, family-friendly environment where children can learn new skills, build confidence, make friends, and discover their potential.

Our mission is about so much more than teaching gymnastics skills. We believe gymnastics provides children with valuable opportunities to develop strength, coordination, perseverance, and confidence while learning to try new things, overcome challenges, and celebrate their accomplishments. We want every child to feel supported, encouraged, and proud of their progress, regardless of their starting point.

Sarah has been coaching gymnastics for over 45 years from toddlers through competitive teams and  serves as  Program Director for preschool and school-age gymnastics at Ultimate Kids in Greensboro, North Carolina. Sarah has a  B.S. in Human Environmental Science with a focus in Child Development and brings decades of experience in creating engaging, age-appropriate gymnastics programs that support children's growth and development.

Dan has more than 45 years of gymnastics coaching experience, working with athletes from preschool through competitive teams.     He has been coaching at Ultimate Kids in Greensboro, NC since 1988 and is co-owner of the company. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a master's degree in Elementary Education. His extensive coaching experience, educational background, and business knowledge complement Sarah's experience and help shape their shared vision for Elevation Gymnastics.

We are passionate about creating a gym that feels like family—a place where children are encouraged to grow, parents feel welcome, and every milestone is worth celebrating. We are thrilled to be part of the Burnsville community and look forward to welcoming your family to Elevation Gymnastics.
